My name is Mitchell Friedman and I am a senior from SMOOCHY. Last year I served as the Communications Vice President on NFTY-GER’s Regional Board and I'm looking forward to serving as CVP again! During my summers I attend Camp Harlam and was fortunate enough to travel to Israel with my camp last summer. I attend school in Hillsborough where I enjoy running, spending time with my homies, eating Chinese food, and finding obscure pieces of multimedia (music, television, movies, etc…)

NFTY Garden Empire Region is governed by a board of teen leaders who are elected by their peers that serve a one-year term. Regional board members play a critical role in all aspects of running the region including event planning and marketing, and mentoring teen leaders from our local youth communities. The regional board is mentored by a Regional Director of Youth Engagement who oversees all programs and administration.
