Caroline McKinnon, President

Caroline McKinnon is a senior from Wyckoff, New Jersey. She has participated in Heller High and UMC, has served as co-RCVP and NFTY liaison on her TYG’s board, and was the NFTY-GER Recruitment Vice President 5778-5779. In her free time, Caroline enjoys hanging out with her cats, baking, and discovering new music. She is honored to be NFTY-GER’s president for 5779-5780, and cannot wait for the amazing year ahead!

Liam Klass, Programming Vice President

Liam Klass is a junior from sunny Marlboro, NJ and is thrilled to be this year's Programming Vice President. Liam previously served as the Programming Vice President for his temple youth group, RTSY, and as the NFTY678 Liaison on the NFTY-GER Cabinet. He is also a proud UMC alum. When not at NFTY events, Liam enjoys riding his bike, playing tennis, eating macaroni and cheese, and spending time with family and friends.

Zohar Grinvald, Social Action Vice President

Zohar Grinvald is a junior from Marlboro, NJ and is very excited to be the Social Action Vice President! Last year she served as the region’s Social Action Chair on Cabinet and has two years of TYG experience, one as President. Zohar is an alumnus of the URJ Kutz Camp’s Action and Advocacy Immersive, and when not talking about Kutz, Zohar loves to bake with her mom and pet dogs.

Molly Gorman, Religious & Cultural Vice President

Molly Gorman is a senior at BATY. For the past two years, she's served as a songleader on NFTY GER’s Regional Cabinet. She also songleads for various congregations nearby. She spends her summers at Eisner Camp, and was lucky enough to travel to Israel with her friends last summer. In her free time, she likes to play field hockey, listen to music, and watch bad movies (her favorite being Christian Mingle).

Matt Goralnick, Membership Vice President

Matt Goralnick is a senior at Bridgewater Raritan high school. He has been in NFTY since his freshman year. Last year, Matt served as the NFTY-GER Communications Vice President and loved it. He is an avid basketball fan and loves the Boston Celtics. Matt was born in Boston, Massachusetts and also enjoys playing basketball, hanging out with his friends and watching sports.

Rebecca Wycoff, Recruitment Vice President

Rebecca Wycoff is a junior from Jackson, New Jersey. Rebecca is excited to be the Recruitment Vice President! Last year she was the Membership Vice President for her TYG, YOSHE. Becca also attended URJ Camp Harlam for the past two years. When not at NFTY, she can be found either on stage, or helping out backstage. Becca also loves her dog, crocs, scrunchies, and nalgenes.

 Max Auerbach, Financial Vice President

Max Auerbach is a junior at Clarkstown South High School. Max belongs to the TYG ReTRo, and was the president last year. Max is excited to serve as NFTY-GER’s Financial Vice President this year! Max also loves URJ Kutz Camp and URJ Camp Harlam, and will be attending Urban Mitzvah Corps this summer.

Robin Falkow, Communications Vice President

Robin Falkow is a junior from Ramsey, NJ and is thrilled to be the Communications Vice President! From the Northern TYG BHSSTY, Robin has held the position of Membership and Communications Vice President since 2017. At NFTY events, Robin always has her camera ready as one of the region’s yearbook chairs! Besides photography, Robin loves to bake, play with her dogs, Maverick and Goose, and spend time with camp and NFTY friends.

NFTY Garden Empire Region is governed by a board of teen leaders who are elected by their peers that serve a one-year term. Regional board members play a critical role in all aspects of running the region including event planning and marketing, and mentoring teen leaders from our local youth communities. The regional board is mentored by a Regional Director of Youth Engagement who oversees all programs and administration.
