Emily Messinger, RJE, MARE, NFTY East Area Manager
Emily is a passionate Jewish educator with experience in youth leadership development, curriculum design, strategic thinking, and organizational change. For the past five years, Emily served as the Director of the Northeast Teen Collective, a teen engagement initiative powered by URJ Eisner and Crane Lake Camps. In this role, Emily empowered teen leaders to use their individual passions as inspiration to create meaningful Jewish experiences for themselves and peers and managed NFTY’s Northeast and New York Area regions. Working closely with Eisner, Crane Lake, and Sci-Tech East camps, Emily collaboratively created a holistic vision for youth engagement in the Northeast. Before her time with the Union for Reform Judaism, Emily served as the Director of Teen Engagement at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, MA. Emily received her master’s in Jewish Educational Leadership from HUC-JIR and is alumna of the Generation Now Fellowship - Cohort I. Emily and her daughters, Hannah and Morgan, live outside of Boston. As an alum of NFTY-NE and Heller High School in Israel (previously known as EIE), Emily is excited and honored to bring her love for NFTY to her role as NFTY East Area Manager.
